Arrival, departure and places to stay

Destination weddings often run over more than one day, so your RSVP asks when you plan to arrive and leave.

Your dates

For each person attending, you will see Arriving and Leaving under the line "If you're staying nearby, optional." Both are optional. Dates are entered as day, month and year, or picked from your device's calendar.

• The dates must fall within two weeks either side of the wedding.
• Leaving cannot be before Arriving.

These help the venue plan rooms and arrangements for the days around the wedding. If your travel plans change, open your link, update the dates and press Save RSVP again.

Staying at the venue

You are not asked whether you are staying at the venue. The couple arranges who stays on-site with the venue. If you are unsure whether a room has been set aside for you, ask the couple.

Where to stay nearby

If anyone on your invitation has been marked as arranging their own accommodation, your RSVP shows a Where to stay nearby list. It can include places the venue recommends and places the couple has added, with a website link, address or distance where they have one.

Who sees your answers

Your dates are part of your RSVP, so the couple and their venue can see them. Other guests cannot.
