Planning with a venue
Your proposal and contract
Read a proposal a venue has shared with you, and sign your booking contract online.
When you are planning a wedding with a venue, they may send you links to a proposal and, once you book, a contract. You do not need an account to open either. Open each link straight from the venue's message.
Your proposal
The link opens Your proposal., showing the venue's line items and total, the date it is Valid until and any notes from the venue.
A proposal is an estimate, not a tax invoice. There is no button to accept it on the page. To go ahead or ask a question, reply to the email the link came in, or contact the venue using the details shown under Questions?.
Signing your contract
The link opens Your contract. with the terms to read. If the contract is a document instead, press Read it here to open it before you sign.
- Read the terms in full.
- Under Sign this contract, type your name into Full name.
- Tick the box to agree that this is your electronic signature. Your IP address and browser details are recorded with your signature.
- Press Sign electronically.
The page then shows Signed. Press Print / save a copy to keep a copy for your records. You can open the same link again later to see the signed contract.
If you see "We couldn't record your signature. Please try again.", wait a moment and try again. If it keeps happening, contact the venue.
If a link does not work
If you see This link is not working., ask the venue for a fresh link. Links opened straight from the venue's message are the most reliable.
